Terror In America; Safety and Security first.
June 10, 2009 the news reports flashed across the local news networks, CNN and Fox News that a terror attack in Washington D.C. at the Holocaust Museum is caused by a white supremest. James Von Brunn an 88 year old lifetime hater of the Jewish and Black races performed his last hurrah. His fifteen minutes of fame were up more than 20 years ago, but again the American law enforcement establishment failed to recognize that he is a continued threat to all Americans.
What will it take to identify these hate mongers? Our constitution guarantees freedom of speech, but neglects to guarantee the safety of its citizens and visitors. It does not protect the crime victims or communities that suffer from the aftermath of such violence.
America is at war with Jahadists, yet we want to treat them as criminal offenders that have constitutional protection guarantees. What protection did Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was beheaded in the Middle East because he was an American and of Jewish heritage. How are we to protect Americans traveling to foreign lands, if we cannot protect Americans at home.
Terrorist actions are more than political ideology. Our street crimes, gang criminals, organized crime networks and random shootings of neighbors and friends leads me to believe that America is self imploding under the umbrella of criminality.
Our police departments are being reduced in staff, caused by an economy that is taking its toll on the weak, frail and infirm. Taking apart those who struggle everyday to survive, to make a safe home and live within the lines of poverty or despair, but still believe in the American dream of hard work, integrity and law abiding citizens and visitors.
American cities need more than talk and politicians that use rhetorical slogans, who squander and pilfer the American economy for their own political gain and greed. Communities need a voice to counter the drug epidemic that has been identified for more than 40 years as our "War on Drugs" just "Say NO" is not the solution. Say "YES" to your community by participating in assisting local police agencies, governments and street watch programs to build an America that we love so dear. Join with your neighbors and friends to stop the carnage in the streets, the violent shootings, murders, and drug sales. Help create safe parks and schools where our children can thrive and find a future for them, not leaving them with the financial burden that will be their legacy, as we expect today's economy and special interests will prosper, leaving the many to struggle to be safe and secure.
Stand up for American values.
