Ben Jacobson

Ben Jacobson;
After spending more than 14 years in NYPD, mostly in the
Organized Crime Control Intelligence group, he was recognized and decorated by
the Police Commissioner of NYPD for numerous police actions. Upon leaving NYPD
Ben became the Director of Corporate Security for two of
Ben is the Co-Author of “Criminal & Civil
Investigations Handbook” 1st ed. 1983 & 2nd ed.
1993, McGraw Hill Book Company. This book is a compendium of more than 65
contributors writing about their expertise in investigation. Ben wrote several
Chapters contributing to the publication, “Informants and the Public Police”,
“Organized Crime Intelligence Operations” and others. He was also
the “Technical Consultant” to McGraw Hill Book Company during the
duration of the preparation and publishing of the book.
Ben hold a Master’s Degree, Criminal Justice
Administration, from C.W. Post College, LIU, NY 1980 and a Baccalaureate
Degree, Criminal Justice, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY,
1975. As an Adjunct Professor at
Ben has been a contributor to numerous articles on Security
and Criminal Justice issues, including; “Dun & Bradstreet Reports
– Negligent Hiring Practices”, Barron’s – “Deadly
Discounts”, Newspapers and many other publications. As a consultant to
A.C. Nielsen, Ben uncovered an International Terror Organization operating
within the
Ben has been interviewed on CNN’s Lou Dobb’s
program, Good Morning America, and was the contributor to the South Florida
Emmy Award winning News story about the Terror Networks operating within the
United States.
Ben consults with numerous law enforcement agencies,
corporate security personnel and multi-national corporations on Security
related issues. He has been instrumental in developing security programs for
special events, celebrities and music entertainers. His security programs have
been used at numerous concerts and even during large crowd performances by some
of the world’s leading entertainers.
